Grandma's garden

At grandma's garden I saw cucumbers and and chive flowers. Chive flowers taste like onions and I did not like it. I saw lettuces, arugula. We really like that in our salad an almost ate it all. Then I saw a pink flower with a bumble bee and it was so cool it was getting pollen. I really like grandma's garden a lot it is full of plants. I learned that our food comes from gardens and and to grow it you need seeds to plant. Everyone should have a garden.

Lettuces experiment

Day 1: We saved the end of a lettuce. I took a jar and put water in it and stuck the lettuce in the jar.

Day 2: We saw roots starting to sprout out of the bottom.

Pancakes

I had to read each step in the cookbook for the pancakes. Then I had to gather the stuff. I got to get the eggs. I learned what fractions are, they are not a whole number. My brothers and I took turns mixing. Then mommy finished it up and cooked it. Inside our pancakes there are little holes. If you peel the top of there are little holes from air bubbles.

Yasser's Bug book

                                       


This is my bug book and two bug on cover. I colored my bugs and cut them out.
 Then we cut a paper folder and paper to make a book. Then I glued my bugs in the book. I let it dry then wrote the words in my book.
